1. Preamble

The Federal Association of Producer Organizations Fruit and Vegetables e.V., hereinafter referred to as BVEO, takes the protection of personal data very seriously. Therefore, we want you to know when we collect what data and how we use it. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

 

2. Information about the collection of personal data

Below we inform about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data is all data that is personally available to you, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, user behavior.

 

Responsible according to Art. 4 Paragraph 7 EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the Federal Association of Producer Organizations Fruit and Vegetables e.V., Pariser Platz 3, 10117 Berlin (see our imprint). When you contact us by e-mail or through a contact form, we will collect the information you have provided (your e-mail address, your name and your phone number) to answer your questions. We will delete the data arising in this connection after the storage is no longer required, or restrict the processing if there are statutory retention requirements.

 

If we would like to use contracted service providers for individual functions of our service or would like to use your data for advertising purposes, we will inform you in detail below about the respective transactions. In doing so, we also name the specified criteria for the storage duration.

 

Your rights

You have the following rights with respect to the personal data relating to you:

You also have the right to complain to us about the processing of your personal data by a data protection supervisory authority.

 

3. Collection of personal data when visiting our website

Personal data are, according to Art. 4 No. 1 GDPR, all information relating to an identifiable natural person. It is therefore information that can be used to discover your identity. This includes, for example, your name, address, mailing address and phone number.

 

In the case of merely informative use of the website, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we will only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to inform you about our website and to ensure its stability and security (legal basis is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 GDPR):

– Date and time of request

– Time Zone Difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)

– Content of the request (concrete page)

– Access status / HTTP status code

– Each transmitted amount of data

– Website from which the request comes

– Browser

– Operating system and its surface

– Language and version of the browser software.

 

The stored data will be used for identification and tracking of improper access attempts and access to the web server.

 

In addition the data will only be used to create anonymous access statistics to optimize our website. No access profiles are created.

 

4. Retention Period

The logged data is stored on our servers for backup purposes for a period of two years after they will be deleted, unless a detected web attack leads to a civil or criminal prosecution of the attacker.

 

5. Communication Security

If you send us an e-mail, your e-mail address will only be used for the correspondence.

 

No guarantee is taken over for the data security with transmission via internet and e-Mail. There is a risk that information contained in an e-mail and an attachment, including confidential information, may be intercepted or destroyed during transmission, may be lost or delayed. Although we will endeavor to reduce this risk, we can´t guarantee that the information, e-mails and their attachments sent by the BVEO do not contain viruses, worms or other harmful elements.

 

6. Cookies

In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive associated with the browser you are using, and by which the site that sets the cookie (here through us) receives certain information. Cookies can´t run programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make the internet offer more user-friendly and effective overall.

 

Cookies set by the BVEO are only for client-side storage of user-related configuration settings for the duration of the session (e.g. preferred language). You have the right and the option to refuse our cookies. You can configure your browser setting according to your requirements, for example, reject the acceptance of third-party cookies or all cookies. Of course, our information service is also fully available to you. However, the scope of functions can then be limited (web forms).

 

7. Web analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google") and Webalizer. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, in the event of activation of IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand to Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases the full IP address will be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website usage and internet usage to the website operator.

 

The IP address provided by Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

This website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp ()". As a result, IP addresses are processed shortened, a person-relatedness can be excluded. Insofar as the data collected about you has a personal reference, it is thus immediately excluded and the personal data is thus deleted immediately.

 

The web analytics service Webalizer is not using cookies and is used with Google Analytics to analyze and regularly improve the use of our website. With the statistics we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptions where Personal Information is transferred to the US, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. 9. Adobe Typekit
